Description
In an art class, the instructor asked us to paint the pepper still life. I was in the back painting a picture of New York. Noticing this, the instructor walked by two other students, went to the front of the room and said, "Class, TODAY, we are painting PEPPERS" I didn't have a second canvas, so I asked him for a large piece of paper to paint on. I sat in front of the arrangement, loaded my brush with paint and began drawing the image with a large brush and filled it in. After 20 minutes, I asked if it was finished, he said "you need more shadows to anchor it to the surface" Splash, Splash, - - "Finished?" "Well, he said, "it is a little tight" Splatter Splatter, DONE. and back I went to painting my picture of New York -- which I didn't like the way IT turned outl.. but "Peppers in a Flash" was just pure fun.

That was my 20 minute, concentrated effort to render the subject and get back to my never completed painting... but this one I kept. Thank you dear lady for stopping by and commenting on my "pure fun" painting. It is so appreciated. : ))
