The Magic of Autumn metal print by Maria Hunt. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This Watercolor painting was started with a process of crumpled tissue, beautiful pigments of blue, green and burnt Sienna, followed by a wet-into-wet painting. Once dry, a second layer of color is applied wet-into-dry, building layer upon layers. To find the weaknesses,, I took the painting to a blueprint maker to scan and print a 17 x11 Copy. I saw immediately the dry leaves on the lower right were not folding correctly, and it needed more depth. In the end, the vibrant colors in a tranquil setting made for a work I doubt I can match, today. Art by Maria Hunt. Copyright protected.

She started in 2000 with art classes at College of the Desert. She refined her skills in plein air painting by attending workshops across the U.S. The years left to get "really good" at art are diminishing, and her focus is laser sharp.
