Description
An ongoing project is to rescue an ancient treasure, an 1884 "Cyclopedia Of Universal Knowledge" from my husband's family. One page at a time, these books have been given new life as works of Art and for raising funds benefiting special causes here in our desert.
This painting had the definition of "abstract" printed on it, and the goal was to create an abstract painting with orange and blues... Results: a 2nd grader could have done better... I turned it upside down.. to see if it looked any better, composition-wise, and OUT pops the shape of a loon, and the makings of a setting sun. So now, he lives-- swimming with the setting sun. The End : ))
(I just love "happy accidents. " )
