For a fundraiser, I was ask to create Muses from Greek mythology. I created 3: Terpsichore "delight in dancing" was one of the nine Muses and designated "goddess of dance" and chorus. She lends her name to the word "terpsichoren" which means "of or relating to dance". She is usually depicted sitting down, holding a lyre, accompanying the ballerinas' choirs with her music. Her name comes from the Greek words delight) and dance"). In this instance, I have her dreaming of the dance. The full version has her holding a tambourine, while dancing. The other muses are Cleo (History) and Erato meaning "desired" or "lovely", shown with the myrtle wreath and holding a lyre
The muse collection is in the Black and White Gallery.

She spends one week a month teaching art to Children (and older versions of children) She...
