On a painting outing with a dear friend from Tacoma, we found this beach on the Puget Sound. The colors reflect the filtered light on an overcast day. This sat in that bin of works that are not ready for life in the light. A few changes still needed but... I thought the peace felt at the moment was captured... so here it is. Ladies, I so thank you for appreciating this particular painting... One should not always paint "Just what they see" but I loved the grey colors and the mood of the day... The sun never really came out to shine... unless grey sunshine counts.
