Title
Winnie the Pooh and Crew in Pen and Ink after E H Shepard
Artist
Maria Hunt
Medium
Painting - Pen And Ink Drawing
Description
I wanted to make sure I had a scan of my Pooh series before I began the watercolor painting process. In the event I ruined the drawings, I could perhaps have them printed on watercolor paper. The watercolor images are a favorite of mine. I found these original scans on an old CD.

Toni, Thank you so much... I was new to watercolor, so after drawing this, I had it scanned. If I messed up, I'd be able to have it printed on watercolor paper and try again, By being careful, I actually ended up with a second image to work with in my fundraisers. : ) I am so happy you like it.

Wonderful story behind the artwork, Maria. I enjoyed reading your first comments received back in 2014. Did this ever make it into the Pen and Ink Only, Art group? This is so sweet and cute. Love your talent. LF Janet💕

Jeff, Thanks so much for your visit. I was so new in watercolor that I had the pen and ink scanned. In the event I "messed" up in the painting, I could have the pen and ink printed on watercolor paper and try again. I didn't use the scans of the pen and ink until 14 years after having it done.
