Artist's Description
On the last day of a Plein Air Workshop in the Santa Fe, I finished a painting with an hour left of late afternoon sun. I only had a small wood panel left and this intimate landscape was all I could manage. The light, the incredible colors of late afternoon, heat rising from the wash floor, just makes the heart skip a beat. I have longed to return and paint again.. . I anticipate creating a 20in. x 24 inch painting from this small study..
