Artist's Description
The Holy Family, from a larger painting, depicts the birth of Christ. The paintings were
created for and donated to my church to celebrate the Journey to Bethlehem through the coming of the Wise Men. This tryptic shows, on 3 panels the Journey to Bethlehem, Top panel remains constant with the bottom panel changing. from joseph leading a donkey, Mary riding as they travel to Bethlehem. The second bottom panel depicts the birth of Christ.
