Title
Tea for Madame
Artist
Maria Hunt
Medium
Painting - Drawing Charcoal On Paper
Description
An elegant, antique teapot from the 20s, treasured by the Grandmother, was the reason for this still life with Fruit, Linen, and a Limoges tea cup. It came together as a sweet, old fashioned still life, harkening back to the days when we'd have a tea party for two with Mama --- or Grandma (or sometimes with dad- but only when you were sick in bed )

This is SO BEAUTIFUL, Maria! Thank you for the family moments behind the still life...I was saddened that it is rarely visited...a mirror on the loss of elegance in our fast paced world. I would have been lost without Tea! I treasure my daily teas with Mary...over 22 years of DAILY Tea...and for the nine years we were apart....DAILY phone tea...We would preselect our cups and saucers the night before to coordinate TEA! I’ve even called her from vacation to share a quick cuppa tea! Thank you for rendering these Artful moments! L/F
