Description
On the 3rd day of a Plein Air Workshop, I was feeling frustration, the colors were not right in the painting, the distractions increasing, pretty much finished, I packed up my easel and paintings and headed for the car, dropping this painting on the walkway. The experience frustrating for many of us, I left early on the last day and put painting aside for a month. My husband suggested I had so many canvases and paints, I should try again. I started with this piece and rescued it.. It stands as a reminder to me that one shouldn't give up but rather, to persist. This painting is "Serenity" "Persistence" could also describe it.
