Fun painting of a horse running free. Painted in pinks and purple for a child's room but works with the right room colors. A dear friend commissioned a horse painting for her Granddaughter. Unaware I had begun painting, She called to mention that the girl's room was Pink and Purple... My solution for the brown/tan horse head I had started painting, was to turn the paper over and begin again with a different approach and you have Miss Lavender, here. She is a bit of fun and any horse lover will laugh at the eyes, knowing how little I know about horses.. And the question remains: Shall I fix it, guys?

After 30 years as a successful business woman, Maria Hunt, finding the nest empty, and having fulfilled her role as financial contributor, retired to the Palm Springs area, pursuing her childhood dream of studying and creating art.
