These pages will be used to raise funds for local charitable organizations through painting gatherings, where guests enjoy wine and lite bites and paint abstract or fun creations on antique pages or music or text mounted on acid free paper. 1884 Cyclopedia of Universal Knowledge repurposed to enrich and to help others.

After 30 years as a successful business woman, Maria Hunt, finding the nest empty, and having fulfilled her role as financial contributor, retired to the Palm Springs area, pursuing her childhood dream of studying and creating art. She started in 2000 with art classes at College of the Desert.
