Artist's Description

In putting this piece together, finding an onion sprouting was impossible, so I had to wait until mine grew green sprouts. It wasn't a very interesting picture at first.. but a little work did the job. The original is a 9x12 but it looks better as an 8x12 (longer and narrower) getting the reflections was the harder aspect. I love to pull things out of the refrigerator when I can's sleep, and painting seems to be the cure. A special thank you to those Fine Art America Groups who have Featured this painting: Featured: Classic Still Life.. 04/09/2017 Amazing Still Life Artwork 04/09/2017 Abc Group -02/02/2016 Outdoor Reflections 08/27/2014 The World We See 08/04/2014 Dining D￿r 08/01/2014 Appreciating Works From All Mediums 06/22/2014

She started in 2000 with art classes at College of the Desert. She refined her skills in plein air painting by attending workshops across the U.S. The years left to get "really good" at art are diminishing, and her focus is laser sharp. She spends one week a month teaching art to Children (and older versions of children) She...
