Description

Visiting a friend in Washington State, we packed a picnic lunch, our easels and Paints, and left on an adventure at a lake behind Mount Ranier. The day was perfect.. I finished my first version of this scene, and my painting partner needed another 30 minutes to finish her larger painting. I couldn't see any better view, and painted the same scene again. I think I like this better than the first. (Practice, Practice, Practice) Of course, I had to clean it up and refine it a bit in the studio... I loved the fresh air, the lovely lunch, the company and a painting that didn't go in the scrap heap.
