Description
In my oil painting class, we were asked to go out in the parking lot to paint what we saw. I saw these beautiful palms... I saw the distant mountains with late afternoon sun... I saw all the (less-appealing) buildings of College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Califoria... I ignored the buildings, and made up the middle ground.. My first plein air painting in Oil (with some artistic license because I didn't like buildings in my pictures --just nature.) Not much has changed in that regard - I just love nature.
A special thank you to the following Fine Art America groups for featuring this painting
