This was in my pile of works that I turn over and use for testing color. I thought I'd try to save this one. I loved parts of it so, here she is with added touches of light and shadow. Loved the contrast between the orange and blue; Red geraniums capture the eye... Lots of fun dressing up this Cinderella --- well not quite Cinderella but she's better than the ugly sisters.

After 30 years as a successful business woman, Maria Hunt, finding the nest empty, and having fulfilled her role as financial contributor, retired to the Palm Springs area, pursuing her childhood dream of studying and creating art. She started in 2000 with art classes at College of the Desert.
