Description
I started this painting with a wet-into-wet under painting in acrylic... didn't know where to take it and it sat for a few years... Using a water-based oil paint by Duo, I was able to complete it. This 20x24 inch painting of flame grapes, highlighted by the early morning sun, are grown in Coachella Valley, outside Palm Springs, The desert has over 300 "row crops" harvested year round. Flame and Thompson grapes are the most popular grapes grown here.
