Description
To capture the true beauty of this plant, I went to the fields to get one with the Leaves still attached. I loved the grace of the Cauliflower leaves. It needed the Pen and Ink to define all the beautiful aspects of it.. I placed it on granite and painted the vegetable and the reflection. It is painted on 300lb Arches paper.

Thank you so much, MM. Getting the worker to leave the leafy part was almost as intensive as applying the pen and ink. I loved this project and for 2 months visited the fields all throughout the desert. I never got to the Carrot harvesting.

Laurel, acquiring the veggies right from the field was almost as entertaining as anything about the project. Never got to the Carrot harvesting.
