Such a complex project and so cleverly planned, executed and titled! Wow!

The first comment. The Keyhole has an Eagle painted on it. The eagle is called "Wishful Thinking" Because thinking you'll get an eagle on this hole of the golf course IS "wishful thinking."

Artist's Description

While preparing images for this Public Art Pilot project. I took pictures of the beautiful 18th Green at Desert Willows Golf Course. Using a cart and 2 assistant's, I took pictures, left one assistant. Drove around to the opposite side of the large water hazard and left the second helper, took pictures from that perspective, and then dealt with the other two positions in relation to the first two locations. In the process, I snapped a picture of a lovely bird reflected in the water near the green.

The work is called "A birdie on the 18th. I also put a small golf ball next to the pin, suggesting a different kind of "Birdie"

On the refreshing of the color last year, I put an "Eagle" to cover the keyhole in the computer access door. The eagle was named "Wishful Thinking" because an "Eagle" is impossible on the 18th.

She refined her skills in plein air painting by attending workshops across the U.S. The years left to get "really good" at art are diminishing, and her focus is laser sharp. She spends one week a month teaching art to Children (and older versions of children) She...
