Description
Baby artichokes, felled by the frost and dried by the sun, lined the walk area between rows of a thriving artichoke field here in the desert. I gathered up a basket of these graceful plants. The fun and challenge was in recreating their fragile state, while retaining their graceful design. The images can be hung vertical or horizontal depending on the shape of the wall. My framer put the wire in the vertical direction and I had envisioned them the other way. But, who KNEW!

Thank you. I just loved how graceful the dried Artichoke plant. I gave them to my students to draw and paint. Oh so fun. Thank you, Genevieve, for your uplifting comments... They make my heart smile.

Thank you, Sherri. I am laughing because we find each other in "St Petersburg" and we live only 20 miles from each other here in the Desert. I do love your work!! 0 Second Ago
